Kasabi Hibachi: A Hidden Gem of Japanese Cuisine in Hazelwood, MO

Absolute hidden gem! Both the Ramen and sushi were divine! Nice, bright and welcoming. Friendly service. Good prices and wait times. Can't believe I've lived only 10 minutes away for years and only just visited.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this restaurant is tucked away, but certainly worth seeking out! During our visit, the employees were welcoming and graceful, and their service was exceptional. Our food arrived shortly after we had ordered, even as numerous takeout orders were being handed. Everything was cooked well and had a satisfying flavor. The establishment itself was clean, organized, and peaceful. We look forward to more comfort meals at this restaurant!

Such a nice spot. The food is great and the service is good. I got a strawberry Japanese soda, a California roll, and the vegetable fried rice the vegetable fried rice has so much flavor. It was absolutely delicious. The crab Rangoon is good also. I highly recommend it when I first pulled up. I was a little unsure cause there’s no signs outside of the restaurant so I posted a picture of the outside for reference.

Presently surprised to find this hidden gem among these frigid temperatures. We were welcomed with smiles and open arms. Cozy atmosphere with a large television playing soft crackles displaying a fireplace. Kimberly was our waitress. She was extremely knowledgeable and offered great suggestions. The food came out fast and hot. It was delicious with beautiful presentation. We will definitely be returning.

Staff 4⭐ Yet kind,helpful, and polite. Atmosphere was just short of perfect. Seating always seems to be available. The food was simply UNDENIABLE.

Excellent food. The hibachi chicken and scallops were amazing. Sweet and savory, and very flavorful. The seafood ramen was delicious. I used some of the chili seasoning they offered, and that gave it a nice kick. The heat is in the back of the throat. The egg rolls and crab Rangoon had an amazing crunch and flakyness. None of the food felt heavy, which I loved. You can seat yourself. Service is very welcoming. I enjoyed the atmosphere. They had classical music playing softly in the background, and I like the decor. I will definitely return.

Went on Valentine’s Day and it was absolutely amazing as usual! The tables were clean and decorated, the interior is beautiful, and staff are always so very friendly and welcoming! We were given a little plate that had heart shaped sushi and spring roll for Valentine’s Day and it was so cute!! I’m usually a picky eater when it comes to spring roll but they were so good! The food came out quick as usual, super hot and fresh!! This is my favorite place to sit down and eat, I love coming here and will continue to!

Really enjoyed my dinner with hot green tea. The place is nice inside, outside looks dated so dont judge this book by the cover. I asked for extra wasabi and ginger with my order. The employees that I saw and spoke with were genuinely happy and kind.
